What is the difference between The ADDVISOR and other auto visor extenders?
Answer:
Other add-on vehicle visors clip onto the existing sun visor, so you choose between blocking sun glare in front OR on the side. Only The ADDVISOR gives you Two-Direction Sun Protection™ (TDSP) to protect your eyes from the front and side without the dangerous duck-and-flip while driving.
How fast do you ship orders?

I have a garage door opener and storage pocket on my factory sun visor. Can I keep them there?
Answer:
Yes, anything you clip to your existing visor can stay exactly where it is. Unlike visor extenders, The ADDVISOR is completely standalone, and doesn't interfere with your factory visor at all.
I can’t get The ADDVISOR into the position shown in the instructions. What's wrong?
Answer:
Check the attachment style used and switch the direction The ADDVISOR is facing. (We call them Visor Style and Sunglasses Style.) Note that there are two ways of using it, and you can easily slide The ADDVISOR from its mount and slide it back on the opposite way.
Can I get a second mounting rail to move The ADDVISOR to another vehicle?

Check the attachment style used and switch the direction The ADDVISOR is facing. (We call them Visor Style and Sunglasses Style.) Note that there are two ways of using it, and you can easily slide The ADDVISOR from its mount and slide it back on the opposite way.
The ADDVISOR is not centered in front of me when I am driving. Can I move it more to one side or the other?
Answer:
That’s an easy adjustment. Simply release the Cam Lock and slide The ADDVISOR in the desired direction on the mounting rail. The rail is built longer to allow fine tuning the position - OR see below
The Mounting Rail is too close to the roof, too low, at an angle, or adhered in the wrong place. How do I move it?
Answer:
Remove the Mounting Rail and re-install it in the ideal position: • Use the included scraper, or a putty knife or spatula • Slide the scraper between the rail and the windshield at one corner of the rail • Slowly work the scraper back and forth to loosen the adhesive and peel the rail off the windshield. • Remove the adhesive from the rail and replace it with the included extra adhesive included
If I remove the adhesive to adjust The ADDVISOR or move it to another vehicle, will my windshield be damaged or marked up?
Answer:
Not at all. We use genuine 3M® adhesive strips for reliable adhesion and clean, no-trace removal. If any adhesive does remain, use a little rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth to rub it off.
How do I find the best position? Can I adjust The ADDVISOR while driving?
Answer:
Experiment with visor positions to find the best ones for you. Set up The ADDVISOR and your car visor before you drive for safety and optimum comfort. Do not adjust while driving.
Can I choose the color of The ADDVISOR?
Answer:
We have light and dark colors available. We call them Ivory and Charcoal but they’re really neutral shades sometimes called ‘chameleon colors’. They blend well to complement a wide range of light and dark interiors.

Why do you use adhesive and a mounting rail instead of suction cups?
Answer:
Suction cups are less secure and take up more space. All suction cups will fail eventually, it's just a matter of time for air to leak into the cavity between the cup and the surface. Extreme temperatures, especially cold, can cause them to fail more often.
We use an adhesive to get a reliable and durable attachment similar to your rear view mirror which is glued onto the windshield.
How do I know the tinted visor is polarized?
Answer:
The ADDVISOR accessories include a polarization test card. Make sure you remove the protective padding from the tinted visor first and then look at the card through the tinted visor. Make sure you have the card in the correct orientation. You will see cars appear on the road which verifies the correct polarization is present.

If your not satisfied with The ADDVISOR you can return it within 45 days for a refund. Please contact us by email for an RMA# and be sure to include the original box and all accessories.
I'm Seeing a reflection in the tinted panel
Answer:
The tinted panel can be reflective, if your seeing a reflection change the angle of the panel. Try moving the bottom of the tinted panel towards or away from you until the reflection goes away.
