We want every person using our products to be thrilled with their experience.  Your satisfaction, safety, and driving comfort is very important to us here at SmartAdditions.  

Damaged Items

When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please notify us immediately at help@SmartAdditions.com. Please provide the order number along with your email address and phone number for fastest service. To assure prompt resolution, please retain the shipping box, packing materials and the damaged items for inspection by the carrier.


30 Day Return Policy

We believe in our product and are confident that you will love them as much as we do. However, if, for any reason, you are not satisfied with The ADDVISOR™ within 30 days of your initial purchase, please contact us at help@SmartAdditions.com to arrange a return, and we will be happy to refund the purchase amount to your original payment method.
Please note the following conditions of our returns policy:

  • You must return The ADDVISOR and it's accessories, including the Mounting Rail (it's OK if the adhesive is damaged), in the original branded box.
  • Refunds are not available on the MC-KIT product alone.


To help us expedite your return request, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Send us an email at help@SmartAdditions.com to let us know that you wish to return the product.
    1. We need to know if the retail box was opened and if you still have all the accessories.
  2. Be sure to include your Order Number.
  3. We will reply to your email to confirm that we have received your request and to provide an RMA number and printable shipping label
    1. We may ask additional questions if necessary for completing the return
  4. Pack the item in the original box with all accessories and then pack the original box carefully to avoid damage in transit.
  5. Using the label from step 3. Ship the items back to us. We will process the credit after the returned product is received.


Please note: Only products purchased through our on-line store, TheADDVISOR.com, may be returned for refund or exchange.  If you wish to return an item purchased through a retailer, you should attempt to return it at the point of purchase.
