The mount offers both horizontal and vertical positioning. The horizontal orientation is perfect for dash cam apps, and the vertical is ideal for maps.
Standard 17mm socket is compatible with many common ball mounts. If you like your existing mount you may be able to connect the LOUNGE-IT.
Mounting Options and Fit
The rear-view mirror mount uses a clamp which needs a little over 1/2 inch space to close.

A vent mount is also included in case that connection is preferred.

What phones fit on the LOUNGE-IT?
Answer:
Most single screen smart phones fit well. We have not tested with folding phones
Does the LOUNGE-IT work with iPhones?
Answer:
Yes, we have tested it all the way up to the iPhone 15
Does the LOUNGE-IT fit on other car mounts?
Answer:
The LOUNGE-IT uses a standard 17mm ball socket. Many car phone mounts use this same size ball. If you like your current car connection it may fit. Please check and measure before ordering to be sure it will connect.
How does it work with Dashcam apps?
Answer:
Using the mirror stem mount in the horizontal (landscape) position the cameras on most phone will see past the LOUNGE-IT for a clear view of the road.
Any tips for installation of the mirror mount?
Answer:
It can be easier to attach the clamp to the mirror stem from the passenger side because you can see the stem shape better.
