That’s an easy adjustment. Simply release the Cam Lock and slide The ADDVISOR in the desired direction on the mounting rail. The rail is built longer to allow fine tuning the position - OR see below

Remove the Mounting Rail and re-install it in the ideal position: • Use the included scraper, or a putty knife or spatula • Slide the scraper between the rail and the windshield at one corner of the rail • Slowly work the scraper back and forth to loosen the adhesive and peel the rail off the windshield. • Remove the adhesive from the rail and replace it with the included extra adhesive included

Not at all. We use genuine 3M® adhesive strips for reliable adhesion and clean, no-trace removal. If any adhesive does remain, use a little rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth to rub it off.

We have light and dark colors available. We call them Ivory and Charcoal but they’re really neutral shades sometimes called ‘chameleon colors’. They blend well to complement a wide range of light and dark interiors.

Suction cups are less secure and take up more space. All suction cups will fail eventually, it's just a matter of time for air to leak into the cavity between the cup and the surface. Extreme temperatures, especially cold, can cause them to fail more often.
We use an adhesive to get a reliable and durable attachment similar to your rear view mirror which is glued onto the windshield.

The ADDVISOR accessories include a polarization test card. Make sure you remove the protective padding from the tinted visor first and then look at the card through the tinted visor. Make sure you have the card in the correct orientation. You will see cars appear on the road which verifies the correct polarization is present.

The tinted panel can be reflective, if your seeing a reflection change the angle of the panel. Try moving the bottom of the tinted panel towards or away from you until the reflection goes away.
Danny is a photographer who has traveled the world shooting his unique visual style. In 2017 he found his eyesight was being damaged by the sun. When driving, sun glare was harming his eyes and leaving him with debilitating headaches. Winding roads and frequent turns made it worse. Flipping the car's visor from front to side and back again was annoying and distracted him from the road, which was dangerous.
He tried several clip-on sun visor extenders. But they were flimsy and more a problem than a solution because they were stuck to the car's built-in visor.
Danny saw that a few luxury cars had two visors. He wanted a solution available for any vehicle. In 2019 Danny shared a prototype with Greg Tucker, an expert in manufacturing, business, and product development.For years, Greg had experienced the sun visor duck-and-flip problem for years while commuting. He recognized that this product would be a real help for everyday sun glare problems.
They formed SmartAdditions, a US small business based in NY, to bring this, and now more innovations, to drivers everywhere.
In 2022, after three years of design, prototype testing, and manufacturing plans, The ADDVISOR® was ready. Today thousands of people are enjoying the improved driving comfort and safety and they are creating new products to upgrade people's lives.
